As I was getting ready for bed that night, she came into my room with a bottle of essential oil and a glass of water. "Here, sweetie, drink this. It'll help you sleep better." And she handed me the water with a few drops of oil in it. My Gym Mommy Treats Me Like A Kid-

We had a good talk, and I think we're starting to find that balance. She's still my Gym Mommy, and I love her for it. But I'm glad we're working on me becoming a healthier, more independent adult - in her eyes, at least. I can take care of myself
I took a deep breath and tried to explain. "Mom, I appreciate it. But sometimes I feel like you're treating me like a kid. I'm 25 years old. I can make my own decisions about my health and wellness. Can we find a balance here?"
